Medicare and Private Health Rebates
To be eligible for a Medicare rebate or private health insurance rebate you will need to obtain a referral and mental health care plan from a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. You can use any referral, it does not need to be addressed to Healthpsych Australia.
A Medicare rebate of $96.65 is available for eligible sessions, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. We can process your Medicare rebate for you. You will be required to pay any remaining gap amount.
If you have private health insurance you may be eligible for a partial rebate, depending on your cover. We can process your private health insurance rebate through HealthPoint.
Other Funding Sources
Our services are eligible to be funded by numerous additional payers such as includes Work Cover, The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or the QLD Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC).
Partial session fees may be covered in the case of a workers compensation claim. Please consult with your workers compensation insurer or employer for more information.

We offer personalised and client-focused support, we will work with you to find the best approach and solutions for any problem.
Supervision
Our experienced supervisors provide supervision and mentoring for all stages of your career. Our supervisors are AHPRA approved psychologists with Health Endorsement. If you are not yet endorsed, we can help you achieve endorsement as a Health Psychologist. Primary and secondary supervision is available for all stages of your development. We also provide individual supervision for psychologists with general registration outside our practice.
